Memorial Day weekend in Tampa will be quieter than normal in 2024 after Sunset Music Festival organizers announced a pause.
They will take a break this year as they navigate a “rebranding journey,” according to a statement posted on the festival's social media. The multi-day event will return at a new venue in 2025, organizers added.
While the team originally hoped to announce a new venue this year, they said it ultimately wasn't ready in time and decided to postpone it “rather than compromise the quality of Sunset.”
Sunset Music Festival celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2022. Over the years, the festival has featured stellar audio-visual productions and DJ sets from countless electronic music superstars, including Zeds Dead, Green Velvet, TroyBoi, Chris Lake, SLANDER and many more.
