Diddy survive the documentary? Looks like those documents are coming.
It has been detected TMZseveral documents detailing the federal investigation of Didi that led to the once-wanted tycoon losing several bags and two of his homes being raided by federal authorities are reportedly under construction.
According to the celebrity gossip site, it will happen “several times with multiple companies.”
Per TMZ:
Multiple industry sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … producers at various production companies in Hollywood and the UK are trying to create feature-length documentaries covering Diddy's drama — from the civil lawsuits to the federal raids.
We were told that the approach to ramp up production for most of the papers began soon after raids in Los Angeles and Miami — which isn't surprising since the feds' execution of search warrants took place on live television … making it more of a national spectacle and prompting people to pay close attention to all the ramifications.
Sources talking to TMZ claim that at least five production companies have contacted anyone close to Diddy who is willing to talk. These include former dancers, Combs Bad Boy Records executives, and even producers on his iconic reality competition show, Making The Band.
TMZ reports that producers have reached out to former Danity Kane member Aubrey O'Day, who has been very public about her frustrations with her former mentor to the account of X.
The site confirms that ABC News Studios for Hulu is working on a documentary, while several UK-based studios are working on their own documentaries.
Recent developments
Things are still evolving in the federal investigation itself. Recently, footage of the raid surfaced on social media, and Misa Hylton, Justin Combs' mother, took to Instagram to call out Homeland Security for using excessive force on her sons, Justin and Christain, during the raid.
Meanwhile, Diddy's longtime nemesis Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson continues to antagonize Combs on social media and, more recently, his mom, Daphne Joy, whose name has appeared in a federal suit, claiming she is “sex worker”.
Joey then accused the G-Unit frontman of rape and being an absentee father after he claimed he was going to take her to court for full custody of their son.
The “Candy Shop” rapper denied those claims.
Will you tune in when the documents arrive? Who are we kidding? We know you'll be watching.
