Swedish House Mafia is heading to Ibiza this summer for a historic DJ residency in the legendary Ushuaïa, one of the world's top clubbing destinations.
After performing just once at Ushuaïa last summer, the legendary electronic music trio will perform every Sunday from July 21 to August 25 in their first Ibiza residency in over a decade. They join the club's list of high-profile 2024 residencies hosted by the likes of Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren and more.
In addition to the six-week residency, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello will perform as Swedish House Mafia at several major international music festivals, including Garorock, Panama Open Air and UNTOLD.
2022 release paradise again, the long-awaited debut album from Swedish House Mafia, lit the fuse of an extraordinary comeback for the band, whose explosive dissolution in 2013 paralyzed the electronic dance music community at large. Prior to the split, they had operated as the world's preeminent electronic music act after becoming the first to headline Madison Square Garden and perform on Coachella's iconic main stage.
Since then, the group's legacy has reached new heights. They returned to Coachella in 2022 to headline the festival alongside The Weekend before teaming up with the chart-topping singer to collaborate on a song for James Cameron's hit song. Avatar: The Way of Water movie.
