Sydney Sweeney faces the forces of evil as a nun in a haunted Italian convent in new Neon trailer Immaculate.
The Michael Mohan-directed horror film, scheduled for release in theaters March 22, stars Sweeney as Cecilia, a deeply religious woman who soon discovers that her new home may not be what it seems after she moves into a convent in the Italian countryside.
“God saved me for a reason, but I'm still searching for what that reason is,” Sweeney says in the trailer as her character discovers a miraculous pregnancy. Watch the clip below.
Completing the cast are Álvaro Morte, Benedetta Porcaroli, Dora Romano, Giorgio Colangeli and Simona Tabasco. Sweeney, Jonathan Davino, Teddy Schwarzman and Michael Heimler produced the film, with Christopher Casanova, John Friedberg and Will Greenfield serving as executive producers.
Last year, Sweeney starred opposite Glen Powell in the romantic comedy, Nobody but you. Next month he will appear alongside Dakota Johnson in the Spider-Man spin-off. lady web.
