Combined, all formats of the album, digital and physical, sold just over 2,000 copies in the US in the week ending August 1 according to Luminate – with nearly all sales coming from its CD and vinyl formats.

A restored version of Stop making sense The film premiered on September 11, 2023, at the Toronto International Film festival before a general theatrical release later that month. On August 18, 2023, a remastered version of Stop making sense the soundtrack was was releasedboasting the full concert for the first time.
