Taylor Swift is all smiles after her three-date Eras tour in Dublin at the weekend, which the pop star reiterated in a thank you note to her fans Instagram Tuesday (July 2).
Sharing a carousel of photos of her performing on stage at the Aviva Stadium on June 28-30, Swift wrote: “Just saw the first Dublin world on Friday night, we were in for a wild weekend.”
“The spirit of these 3 glorious crowds embodied fun, joy and exuberance, and we felt so lucky to be there,” she added in her caption. “The Irish fans made us feel at home, so welcome in every way. He still smiles thinking about it now. 🇮🇪 See you soon, Amsterdam!!”
As the singer of “Fortnight” pointed out, it is next to bring her trip to the Netherlands. He will play three consecutive shows at the Johan Cruyff Arena from Thursday (July 4th), after which he will take off for Switzerland.
Swift's stay in Dublin was certainly one to remember, with the superstar at one point debuting Department of Tormented Poets track “Clara Bow” in front of Stevie Nicks, who is featured on the song. With the Fleetwood Mac frontwoman in the crowd, Swift also performed Midnight“You're On Your Own, Baby,” which Nicks has previously credited with helping her grieve her late partner Christine McVie.
“The reason I want to play tonight is because a friend of mine is here,” Swift told the crowd at the time. “He is a hero of mine. I could tell her any secret. he would never tell anyone.”
After the last show, the 'Karma' artist hung out with his friend Travis Kelce, Nicks and Paramore at the Hacienda bar in Dublin. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end had previously entered the VIP tent halfway through the concert, appearing to make Swift light up with a big smile as she noticed him arrive.
