Taylor Swift is about to make your Black Friday a whole lot brighter. On Tuesday (October 15), the singer announced two Target exclusives set for November 29 that will give a sneak peek at her billion-dollar Eras tour and add extra sparkle. Department of Tormented Poets album.
The official Taylor Swift | The Eras tour Book will give Swifties a new look at the ongoing tour with behind-the-scenes photos and personal reflections written by Swift, as well as more than 500 images, including previously unseen footage from every era and exclusive rehearsal photos, according to a release announcing the plan. The 256-page book ($39.99) covers the tour from start to finish, with images of instruments, costumes, sets and designer sketches from the period of the full-day excursion.
“Here is the official retrospective of the most amazing tour of my life, my beloved Eras tour,” Swift said in a statement about the tour that has hit five continents in more than 100 concerts. “Thank you to the fans who came to this show. You were what made The Eras tour what it was.”
In addition, the Tortured Poets Section: The Anthology (previously only available as a digital album) will be issued on vinyl ($59.99) and CD ($17.99) for the first time, also exclusively at Target while supplies last. The vinyl edition of the 35-track album, including four bonus acoustic tracks (“I Can See You,” “You Are In Love,” “Death By a Thousand Cuts” and “Maroon”), will also include an old-View poster of Swift and place on four marbled, translucent trays.
In an Instagram post Tuesday morning announcing the projects, Swift wrote: “We're kicking off the final leg of The Eras tour this week, which is hard to fathom. This tour was the most wonderful experience and I knew I wanted to remember the memories we made together in a special way. Well, two ways actually.”
Both items will be available in Target stores on Black Friday only, before being added to the Target app and Target.com on November 30.
Swift will relaunch her Eras tour for one final North American run on Friday (October 18) with a trio of shows at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami with special guest Gracie Abrams. The outing is expected to conclude on December 8 with the third and final concert at BC Place in Vancouver.
