Tears of fear passed by Jimmy Kimmel live! Monday night to perform “The Girl That I Call Home,” a cut from her recent live album. Songs for a nervous planet.
With their live band and backup singers in tow, Tears for Fears delivered a melancholic performance of “The Girl That I Call Home.” Roland Orzabal, who wrote the song about his wife, takes the lead through the song's delicate verses and is joined in high harmony by his bandmate Curt Smith on the chorus. Tears for Fears shared the album live Songs for a nervous planetwhich included “The Girl That I Call Home,” “Astronaut” and two other new originals, on October 25. The album was accompanied by a concert film that was shown in cinemas around the world the weekend of its release.
Meanwhile, Tears for Fears are about to play a trio of shows at the new FontaineBleu hotel in Las Vegas from October 30 to November 2. They will be Tears for Fears' only shows of the year; get tickets here.
