The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has finally announced its inductees into the class of 2024: Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Matthews Band, Cher, A Tribe Called Quest, Mary J. Blige, Peter Frampton, Foreigner and Kool & The Gang. been selected for the ceremony on October 19 in Cleveland.
Unfortunately, artists like Daft Punk, Oasis, Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Chaka Khan, Sonic Youth, Soundgarden, The Smiths, Joy Division and Iron Maiden will have to wait another year for a possible addition. Not exactly in bad company. Many great artists have been excluded from the warm confines of the Cleveland institution.
Here is a list of 24 artists who have not yet been enshrined, ranked by how long they have been waiting at the doors of the Rock Hall.
