With the most No. 1s on each chart (through chart dated November 11, 2023), The Beatles thus claim the most chart-toppers combined: 39, via 20 No. 1s on the Hot 100 and 19 on the Billboard 200. The Fab Four first topped the charts in February 1964, thanks to “I Want To Hold Your Hand” and the parent album Meet the Beatles, respectively. Their run for the Billboard 200 No. 1 extends to their retrospective 1 in 2000-01.
Sharing the lead among soloists, Drake leads all male soloists and ranks second overall with 26 combined Billboard 200 and Hot 100 Nos. 1, equal to 13 on each chart. Add the latest leaders of me For all dogs and the set's “First Person Shooter” (featuring J. Cole) in October.
Also tied for the top total among solo and solo female artists, Taylor Swift sports her 26th No. 1: 14 on the Billboard 200 and 12th on the Hot 100, which recently increased by Department of Tormented Poets and “Fortnight” (featuring Post Malone) in the respective rankings. Swift is the only female and joined The Beatles and Drake among all acts, with double-digit No. 1s on both charts.
