The Big Moon’s Juliette Jackson has married her partner Max at Green Man Festival, 10 years after the couple met at the same gig.
The singer and guitarist met her new husband at the Welsh festival in 2014 when they were both delivering packages for the Secret Post Office, the free service that allows festival-goers to send letters and cards to others on site.
Then, five years later, Max took to the stage during The Big Moon’s set dressed in a post office uniform to propose to Jackson. The couple welcomed their first child in 2021.
Now, to bring the connection full circle, the couple have tied the knot at the festival’s Glanusk Park site in the Brecon Beacons, surrounded by friends, family and Green Man postal workers, as reported by NME.
The Big Moon have been playing a number of shows over the summer, including at the Somerset House Summer Series in July, opening for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds at Cardiff Castle, as part of The Libertines’ shows on Brighton Beach and at Bearded Theory Festival in Derbyshire in May.
The London band are set to join Glass Animals on the UK dates of their upcoming Tour Of The Earth tour, which includes early November stadium shows in Glasgow, Manchester, Nottingham, Cardiff and London.
