Another summer is on the horizon, which means The Chainsmokers are ready to provide the soundtrack to sun-soaked days and wonderful memories.
The chart-topping duo have announced a new EP, No hard feelingsthe first since 2016 Collage. That album includes two of her three most-played songs, “Closer” and “Do n't Let Me Down”, which are predominantly considered generational dance anthems.
Kings of radio vulnerability, The Chainsmokers have always been masters of bottling the emotional peaks and vulnerable valleys of modern life in their songwriting. The EP's title hints at another journey through the universal experiences of love, loss and self-discovery.
Last week, The Chainsmokers released “Friday,” a self-described successor to their smash hit “Roses.” That single, as well as “Addicted,” will appear on the upcoming EP along with four new tracks. If those two albums are any indication, fans can expect the hit tandem's signature blend of pop directness and contemporary dance production.
No hard feelings will be released on May 10 via Disruptor/Columbia Records. You can pre-save the EP here and check out their tracklist below.
