The Louis Vuitton x Timberland collaboration is upon us, and while we're sure plenty of heads in various boroughs across New York City wouldn't mind rocking some fresh-build boots with the Louis V imprint emblazoned all over them, we're not sure that'll happen with the honors they carry with them.
According High concernthe collaboration is rumored to be released on August 8th. We've seen the 6-inch construction boot with the “LV” print on the tongue, but it looks like we're also getting a Louis Vuitton version of the classic “40 Below” boot made famous by Tupac in his breakthrough role as Bishop in the cult classic film, Juice.
We won't lie, these are pretty tough. However, a retail price of $3,000 almost guarantees you won't be seeing them on your hood anytime soon… if ever.
Per High concern:
Rumors are swirling that Louis Vuitton's New York AF collaboration with Timberland will hit stores on August 8th. This is perfect for all the real Timb steppers who hit pools and beaches with 6 inches all summer long. And a leaked image from what looks like a line sheet distributed by Louis Vuitton's sales associates reveals that an “LV Boot Ranger” will cost $2,990.
It's worth noting that while August is a possible release date as the LV Timbs are part of Pharrell's FW24 collection, this information has not been confirmed.
We remember when a pair of construction boots cost $100, but once prices hit $190, many heads turned. We're not sure if a $3,000 pair of Timbs will have heads flocking to grab a pair, but don't be surprised if you see some rappers or athletes rocking these joints when out in public. Looks like they'll be the only heads willing to shell out big bucks to rock a pair of construction boots emblazoned with the “LV” logo.
