Legendary British punk band The Damned have announced a new concert album, titled AD 2022 – Living in Manchester. The multi-format release, scheduled for September 13, was filmed during the band's concert at the O2 Apollo Manchester on November 3, 2022.
The band's original lineup, consisting of Dave Vanian (vocals), Brian James (guitar), Captain Sensible (bass), and Rat Scabies (drums), had intended to play a series of shows in 2020, but were forced to play a series of shows in 2020. to postpone concerts due to the pandemic. They finally booked the Manchester show for November 2022, playing a 21-song set.
The track listing was mainly selected from their first two albums, Damn Damn Damn and Music for pleasure, both released in 1977, and also included covers of “Help!” by The Beatles. and “The Last Time” by the Rolling Stones.

In addition to a digital release, AD 2022 – Living in Manchester will arrive on 180 gram double black vinyl, as well as a limited deluxe 2CD+DVD edition that includes audio and video of the full Manchester show and a bonus CD from a concert that took place two nights later at the O2 Academy in Birmingham .
The Damned recently played the massive No Values punk festival in Pomona, California, amid a series of North American tour dates that conclude this Sunday (June 16) in Portland, Oregon. Get up tickets here.
