Never let it be said that Jimmy Fallon doesn't have a sense of humor.
The late night talk show host and Awards MC was the joke when Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent and Eminem piled in for a surgical sketch that aired Tuesday (March 19) on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Dre, the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame producer and hip-hop's first billionaire, takes the lead in the “Dre's Anatomy” sketch, which sees Fallon on his back in the ER, his privates under control.
As Dre struggles installation issue, Snoop, then 'Dr Jackson', introduce a range of instruments fit for work.
Snoop applies some of his signature smoke, Fallon's flat lines, the unmistakable sounds of “Still DRE” and the hip-hop legends start working some beats.
Eminem shows up late to give him “a shot” – a mean green face prepared in a horse-sized syringe.
Although Dr. Dre may not have had the letters MD after his name, the West Coast legend now has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Dre officially received his 2,775th star during a star-studded presentation on Tuesday afternoon (March 19), with Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Eminem and Beats co-founder Jimmy Iovine in attendance to share words of praise for the creative.
“Growing up in Compton, I never imagined that one day I would be represented here among some of my childhood heroes,” he told guests.
“I've been lucky enough to make a living doing exactly what I love to do. What about this one; Isn't that the dream?' Dre continued. “Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of finding and nurturing new talent, as well as pushing the boundaries of hip-hop in both content and substance.”
As a member of NWA, Dre. was inducted into the Rock Hall in 2020 and last year was named by Billboard as the greatest rap producer of all time. Eminem was a member of the Rock Hall Class of 2023.
