On June 7, drummer Greg Barton will be “Foo Fighting Cancer” playing every Foo Fighters song in their discography in one go.
Barton, a professional drummer with more than 15 years of experience, will play all 128 Foo Fighters songs from each of their 12 albums. He embarks on this challenge in honor of his grandmother, who is battling cancer, as well as in honor of the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. Barton has added a donation link so viewers can contribute, with all proceeds going to the Cancer Research Institute.

The playback will last nine and a half hours and Barton will try to complete it in a single take without stopping. According to Barton, he's been preparing for months, isolating every Foo Fighters drum track with AI to enhance his practice sessions. “Before you say, 'That's impossible,' I did a six-hour play last month and I feel confident I can make it to the end!” Barton said.
The nine-hour playback will begin June 7 at 12 pm EST on YouTube liveand in the meantime, you can watch Barton's fundraising page.
Foo Fighters will also be returning to the road this year for a North American tour, and you can get tickets to see them. here.
