The Ghost Inside have announced their new album, Searching for comfortalong with a North American tour in spring 2024. The metalcore group also shared the single “Wash It Away” ahead of the album's April 19 release date.
The band will begin their tour with a release day concert on April 19 in Las Vegas and will remain on tour until a May 16 appearance at the Sonic Temple Festival in Columbus, Ohio. Paleface Swiss, Bleed from Within and Great American Ghost will support the tour's headline dates.
General ticket sales for select dates begin Friday (February 9) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Fans can also search for deals or get tickets for sold-out dates through StubHubwhere your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub's Fan Protect program.
Searching for comfort will mark The Ghost Inside's sixth studio effort and their first full-length since their 2020 self-titled album. The tracklist includes previous 2023 singles “Earn It” and “Death Grip,” making the melodic number “ Wash It Away” on the third single from the LP.
“There's more singing and song structure than on the previous album, but there's also some of the heaviest songs we've ever done,” noted bassist Jim Riley in the LP's press release. “We really know who we are and we also feel comfortable taking a step into the future. This is a new chapter, but it's not disconnected from what the band sounded like before. It is rather an extension of it. “We are excited about it.”
