The Killers are set for a Las Vegas residency this August.
The Vegas rockers – Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning, Mark Stoermer and Ronnie Vannucci Jr – will mark the 20th anniversary of their acclaimed debut album, ‘Hot Fuss’, with a series of hometown shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace between August 14 and 30.
For the first time, the ‘Somebody Told Me’ hitmakers will perform the 2004 LP from start to finish.
The seminal album features the hits ‘Mr. Brightside’, ‘When You Were Young’, ‘All These Things That I’ve Done’, ‘Human’, and ‘Read My Mind’.
A pre-sale takes place on January 24 on Ticketmaster and the general sale begins on January 27.
Last month, frontman Brandon admitted he would be up for doing a residency like U2’s at the newly opened multi-million-dollar immersive Sphere venue in Sin City, although he admitted it would be a “big undertaking”.
He told The Guardian newspaper: “You can take the boys out of Vegas, but it will always be a part of us. When we were kids, it was a small town.
“For a while it was the fastest-growing city in America. I was lucky enough to see U2 at the Sphere. Absolutely we would be open to doing something like that. It would be a big undertaking, but it would be a blast.”
The band previously played Caesars Palace for a private F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix launch party in 2022.
The residency follows their ‘Rebel Diamonds Tour’ in the UK and Ireland, this summer, in support of their chart-topping eighth studio album of the same name, which is almost sold out.
