On Friday, September 20, in downtown Los Angeles, The Lox graced the stage, celebrating 30 years in their three-piece catalog. The band presented their remarkable classic tracks from albums such as Money, power and respect (1998), We are the streets (2000), Dirty America… It's beautiful (2016) and Living Off Experience. Each artist also performed selections from their solo catalogs. The event was held at Belasco Theatre in the heart of DTLA and fueled by an opening performance by Coast Contrawhich characterizes Short pause of Junior Mafia as a surprise guest.
The Lox are an East Coast trio based in Yonkers, New York that emerged in the 90s. They made their commercial debut with Money, power and respect. Each member has made a name for themselves beyond their group work while still holding it down in the East Coast New York underground scene.
