While they call various ska scenes home, The Steady 45 have only continued to build ska cred. They are set to play at the Skawards festival in Los Angeles, as well as opening for the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra. True to their ska heritage, they have also supported several Jamaican legends such as Stranger Cole, Pat Kelly of the Clarendonians, The Pieoneers and more.
They also remember their punk roots, recalling an Operation Ivy cover they played for Esteban Flores' birthday. However, not stuck in the past, the band continues to celebrate their peers in the trad-ska scene, such as Chris Murray, Aggrolites, See Spot, The Expanders, Mobtown and Steady Beat.
