The countdown with the most saved versions of Spotify
Before Tormented Poets was even released, Spotify's countdown page broke the streaming service's record for the most pre-saves in history. The countdown began on March 28, two weeks before the album's release date, inviting Swifties to watch as each second ticked by.
Spotify has also continually updated the tab with links to the pop star's merch, as well as cryptic videos of Swift typing out lyrics from the LP on a typewriter.

One week vinyl sales
Of Tormented Poets 1.5 million first week sales, 700,000 of those copies were vinyl. This breaks Swift's record for the biggest sales week for a vinyl album in the modern era or since Luminate began tracking data in 1991, surpassing 693,000 sales. 1989 (Taylor Edition) in the first week of 2023.
Ahead of its release, Tay announced four vinyl variants Tormented Poets — “The Manuscript,” “The Albatross,” “The Bolter,” and “The Black Dog” — each contain the 16 songs on the album's main tracklist plus a bonus track.
