Serving as a sequel to Todd Phillips' 2019 origin film, Joker: Madness in two begins where jester left off – with Arthur Fleck (Phoenix) in Arkham State Hospital, incarcerated for the murder of talk show host Murray Franklin.
The new trailer follows Joker: Madness in two'The first trailer for the film, which arrived in May, confirmed the “jukebox musical” style. One of the most anticipated movies of 2024, the film's official synopsis reads: “After murdering Murray Franklin on live television, Arthur Fleck is incarcerated in Arkham State Hospital, where he meets Harleen Quinzel. The two fall madly in love and experience musical madness through their shared delusions, while Fleck's followers start a movement to break him out of Arkham, ultimately giving rise to the criminal empire of the Clown Prince of Crime.”
