Their McNuggets can now be served with electronic music at a McDonald's restaurant in Budapest.
The fast food joint recently received an intense makeover with a feature you would never have imagined: DJ sets from 10pm to 4am every Friday and Saturday night. Even better, the chain's location at the Nyugati train station offers a cavernous colonial roof on which artists can display mind-blowing images.
After an eight-month renovation, the McDonald's franchisee decided to call the renovated location “Nyugati Lounge.” The dance music series will run until the end of the year and has so far invited Lauer, Bela Galik and Nigel Sorter, among other local DJs, to perform.
This particular location has been praised by Lonely Planet as the “most elegant” McDonald's in the world. Many have even compared it to a five-star hotel, according to the New York Post.
