I come to you live from Austin, Urban Outfitters kicks off its Spring/Summer campaign with a return to SXSW and exclusive appearances by Grammy-nominated artist Tierra Whack — including exclusive merchandise discounts, some of our own favorite festival looks of the seasonand one brand new vinyl LP.
Ahead of the release of her second album for World Wide WhackUO throws a World Wide Whack limited edition vinyl LP and UO Exclusive graphics, available online March 15. The opaque spring green vinyl retails for $34.98 and is limited to just 2500 copies, with a special edition signed by Whack limited to just 500 copies.

Starting at $39, The Exclusive UO t-shirt features graphics from Philly-made Whack herself, including a quirky collection of sticky notes with phrases like “Act Natural : “, “Who are you?” and “Whacko”. It's smooth with a pigment-dyed finish and distressed graphics for that old, worn out looking t-shirt.

Whack will also headline Urban Outfitter's music showcase on March 16, with Urban Outfitters saying the artist “solidif[ied] Its position as a force to be reckoned with follows the riveting release of Whack World. [She is] often described as a hip-hop surrealist known for her imaginative presence in the world. combining styles, genres and graphics in innovative ways.” Fast-rising experimental R&B artist N3WYRKLA and friend Philly Chioke are also set to perform. Beyond SXSW, UO's Spring/Summer campaign will feature a revamped UO Music Shop featuring the latest vinyl releases, merch sales and exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews with artists like Whack.
Last fall, Tierra Whack took the stage with Lil Yachty for Rolling rockthe first Musicians on Musicians live event. While she knows it's been a while since she's released new music, Whack explained that innovative music videos like hers take time. But also: “I'm not just going to delete bullshit,” Tierra said. “They're going to be things I'm really proud of.” Her long-awaited debut full-length album, World Wide Whackis a follow-up to her acclaimed visual EP, Whack World. Whack collaborated with fellow Philly conceptual artist Alex Da Corte on the visuals and creative elements of this album.
