Tiffany Haddish shares details about her new single “Woman Up” and her work with Dianne Warren on her next musical project. She also talks about how she landed a role in 'Bad Boys: Ride or Die' and sought advice from some of her peers, including Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Queen Latifah and more.
Tiffany Haddish:
She plays this song for me, plays some more. And I was like, Girl, we're recording all of this. So we recorded three songs.

No way!
Tiffany Haddish:
And this is just the first of a trilogy, so to speak. Hi, I'm Tiffany Haddish and I'm Billboard News.
Rania's comments:
Congratulations on your new song “Woman Up”. Working with Diane Warren, she is one of the most prolific songwriters overall, but she also has a great affinity for female artists who have a song about empowerment, written by Diane Warren. How did she feel?
Tiffany Haddish:
It felt incredible. First of all, Diane Warren slid into my DMs in 2017. I had no idea because I decided to stay out of DMs because there were too many D pics and she surprised me.
Rania's comments:
It happens, it happens to all of us.
Tiffany Haddish:
You know, I can't stand it and I stayed out of DMs and then I ran into her at a party. And she was like, “I was in your DMs and you never responded.” I was like, 'I didn't know you were in my DMs! Oh my God, we have to work together.' She says, 'I want to work with you.' I love your voice.' I say, 'Did you hear my voice? Do you know my voice? And then we go back and forth talking. I tell my team something like, 'Set me up with Diane Warren.'
