Beetlejuice is back: the first official trailer for beetle juice beetle juice has arrived. Watch it below.
Serving as a sequel to the 1988 film. beetle juice, the film comes courtesy of original director Tim Burton and is scheduled for release on September 6. The film also features several returning cast members from the 1988 original, including Winona Ryder as Lydia, Catherine O'Hara as Delia, and Michael Keaton as Mr. Juice himself.
Meanwhile, new cast members include Jenna Ortega as Lydia's daughter Astrid, Monica Belluci as Beetlejuice's wife and Willem Defoe as ghost detective Wolf Jackson.
beetle juice beetle juice was originally teased with a short teaser released in March. a sequel to beetle juice has been in the works since the early '90s, and beetle juice beetle juice ended up in development hell for a long period of time. Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment teamed up with Warner Bros. to produce the sequel in 2022, with the project filming and completing in 2023.
