TLC Fans will have to be patient to see their favorite team. They canceled some shows after that T-Boz suffered a medical emergency.
As was mentioned on Deadspin The duo failed to perform on August 23 at the New York State Fair. As soon as she arrived in the city on Friday, the singer began to feel ill. “Shortly after arriving in Syracuse, Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins experienced sudden and severe nausea, vomiting and severe abdominal cramps,” an official statement said. “She was immediately attended to by a doctor and then taken to hospital for further evaluation.” Although all the symptoms are usually a sign that something she ate did not agree with her stomach, medical professionals confirmed that it was not food poisoning.
“The doctor verified that it was not food poisoning, but an abdominal obstruction,” the statement continued. “Tionne deeply regrets having to cancel these shows and sincerely apologizes to all her fans and the event organizers. The decision to cancel was taken on the advice of her doctor, who asked her to stay in hospital overnight to undergo a CT scan to assess the severity of her condition.”
T-Boz shared that she is on the road to recovery via her Instagram account. “I'm on The Mend!!! This was just one of those unexpected things that I had no control over!” she wrote. “Can't wait to make it 2 everyone… And hope to be out of the hospital soon!!!”
