Discussing the plethora of horror and horror-adjacent roles he has tackled, Payne delves into how the process of tackling scary or exciting material differs from other genres. From the next Blumhouse production Imaginary to his command in The Walking Dead, the actor has had to bring out his creepy side.
As the focus is on your time in The Walking Dead, the actor reveals that he did not want to become a zombie after his character's death. “I did No “I want to sit in makeup for hours and hours and wear a latex hood,” she explains. “The boys and girls who play the Walkers deserve medals because they bake in the sun. They are in very uncomfortable positions, they wear all this makeup and they have to arrive earlier than us in the morning and leave later than us at night. “That’s the hardest job in that program.”
Payne also finds time to talk about his other notable roles, including the upcoming The physical, Prodigal son (which he believes was canceled too soon), and Costner's anticipated double feature Horizon: An American Saga. Of the latter, Payne tells the story of crying during her first day on set.
