After succeeding Lay Bankz's “Tell Ur Girlfriend,” a three-week No. 1 on the TikTok Billboard Top 50, Tommy Richman's “Million Dollar Baby” also collects its third frame at the top, ranking No. 1 on June 1st. – dated survey.
The TikTok Billboard Top 50 is a weekly ranking of the most popular songs on TikTok in the United States based on creations, video views, and user engagement. The latest chart reflects May 20-26 activity. TikTok activity is not included Advertising sign charts other than the TikTok Billboard Top 50.
“Million Dollar Baby” is the fifth song to spend at least three weeks at No. 1 on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 since its launch in September 2023. Mitski's “My Love Mine All Mine” is the reigning all-time leader six weeks.
“Million Dollar Baby” concurrently ranks No. 3 on the multi-metric Billboard Hot 100 via 55.9 million official U.S. streams, 15.2 million radio plays and 7,000 downloads in the week ending May 23, according to Luminate.
Kendrick Lamar's “Not Like Us,” which spent its first week in the top five of the TikTok Billboard Top 50 dated May 25, jumps to a new peak at No. 2 on the latest chart, followed by “Billie Eilish” Birds of a Feather,' which debuts at No. 3.
As for “Birds of a Feather,” the song marks the second week of debut from Eilish's new album, Hit hard and soft. “Blue” led the team in the May 25 rankings with a No. 13 bow, with “Chihiro” also appearing at No. 49.
More songs from Hit hard and soft fill out the June 1 list, but “Birds of a Feather” is by far the topper so far with its No. 3 debut. The main trend of the song involves friends posting videos together, either past or present, highlighting their friendship. Eilish's chorus “birds of a feather/ we should stick together” soundtracks the material.
“Birds of a Feather” simultaneously bows at No. 13 on the Hot 100 thanks to 25.3 million streams and 3,000 downloads. The album's top-performing tune on the Hot 100, “Lunch” (No. 5), is one of Eilish's other songs to reach TikTok's Billboard Top 50, starting at No. 13, featuring mainly lip-synch.
Below “Birds of a Feather,” “Tell Ur Girlfriend” and Lay Bankz's Future, Metro Boomin, Playboi Carti and Travis Scott's “Type Shit” round out the top five.
“Birds of a Feather” isn't the only song to hit the top 10 for the first time. Tinashe's “Nasty” jumps from No. 12 to No. 7, and Cayo's “Close” shoots 28-9 while Luis R Conriquez and Neton Vega's “Si No Quieres No” jumps 18-10.
“Nasty,” originally released on April 12, has gained momentum in recent weeks thanks to a dance trend on TikTok, as has “Close,” which premiered in March. While “Nasty” has a few additional appearances on Advertising sign charts under its belt, with a No. 10 debut on the Hot R&B Songs chart dated June 1 (2.9 million streams), the TikTok Billboard Top 50 is the only appearance so far for “Close,” though enjoyed a 104% jump in streams to 385,000 in the week ending May 23.
As for “Si No Quieres No,” the rise on the duo's TikTok (a mixed-content soundtrack with no significant trending via line) coincided with continued gains on other streaming services, up 10% to 9.6 million streams.
