“We're going to create some ground-breaking moments together through this partnership,” the brothers said of their deal with Amazon.
Jason and Travis Kelce's New Heights heading to Wondery. On Tuesday, the Amazon-owned podcast company revealed that they have inked a three-year deal with their NFL brethren for their podcast, giving Wondery sales and ad distribution rights.
Although it has not been confirmed how much the deal is worth, both CNN and Variety report that the deal is in the $100 million range. (A representative for Travis Kelce did not immediately respond to Rolling Stonehis request for comment.)
“We couldn't be more excited to partner with Wondery for the next phase of New Heights,” Travis and Jason Kelce said in a statement about the podcast. “We love this show and the fan base that has grown with us over the past two seasons. Wondery understands the shared vision and will bring a wealth of experience and resources to lead us to New Heights!”
“We will create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership,” the brothers added. “We're excited to start Season 3 — see you soon, 92%!”
The next podcast episode of the show is due out on Wednesday. The deal is set to include the podcast's back catalog and will allow Wondery to monetize and distribute audio and video episodes of the first two seasons. (New Heights won Podcast of the Year at the 2024 iHeartPodcast Awards.)
The show features the two brothers talking about their lives on and off the field, as well as special celebrity guests. It also served as the first place Travis Kelce opened up about his relationship with Taylor Swift last summer.
“'New Heights' on the surface is a sports podcast, and sports is a category that sounds so good,” Wondery CEO Jen Sargent said in a statement. “But it's become a cultural phenomenon—it's in this cultural zeitgeist.”
