Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's appearance on the opening weekend of Coachella 2024 was one of the festival's most intense parts so far, with fans online going wild with clips of the pair laughing, kissing, holding hands and dancing as they enjoyed the starry composition together from the pit. And on Wednesday's (April 17) episode of New Heights podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs team updated the outing for his older brother and co-host, retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.
“I absolutely love live music,” began Travis, who will also be the host You're smarter than a celebrity. “I can't get enough of it in my life. It was fun to get out there and see some new bands that I really wasn't that familiar with, but I became a huge fan of their music because of the way they played and captivated the crowd. Bleachers – our guy Jack Antonoff – absolutely smashed it. I had so much fun watching him go crazy with his guitar and all his boys.”
Cameras captured Swift kissing and dancing with Travis in an area seen backstage during her frequent collaborator's set on Saturday (April 13). The pair also spent time with Antonoff and his band before their set and took a photo with some of the guys, which drummer Sean Hutchinson posted on Instagram a few days later.
However, when it came time for Ice Spice's showcase later that night, the athlete and his superstar girlfriend opted to watch with the rest of the crowd from the pit. “I like to look at it from a fan perspective, because I am, I'm a music fan,” Travis explained. “I want to see it from the front of the stage.”
“We could probably end it this way,” he continued, referring to the more secluded locations from which he and Swift could watch the rapper's performance. “But I think it's a lot more of an experience if you're in the pit, if you're in the frenzy with all the fans.”
Travis isn't kidding when he says he's a big live music guy—the Ohio native is set to host his second Kelce Jam festival in May, with a self-curated lineup featuring Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz and Diplo. “Live music is something I never overlook,” he said Advertising sign earlier this month. “The list goes on and the genres vary everywhere. I'm a real music lover.”
The brothers also took a minute to thank Swift for supporting their podcast with their Coachella outfit, which featured a baseball cap from Kelces' New Heights merchandise store. “It sold out of the green hat very quickly,” said Jason, noting that the accessory has since been restocked Website.
It's a good color, green, Travis thought. “He supports her New Heights!”
