Travis Kelce doesn't need to take any of the many Taylor Swift-centric college courses taught at universities around the world—he's learning from the Master herself.
While promoting the Kelce Jam spring music festival, the Kansas City Chiefs is gushing about what he's learned about music and live performances from his superstar girlfriend, whose Eras world tour he's caught multiple times over the past year. “It was definitely fun to experience her taste in music, for sure,” he said Entertainment tonight Tuesday (April 2).
“She's so amazing at what she does, and finding that creativity to see where she likes to get things from and how she actually listens to music, that's very impressive to me,” he added.
Kelce also confirmed that he plans to attend some of Swift's upcoming shows in Europe — “You know I gotta go support!” — and said the “Anti-Hero” singer's music appears on his “daily playlist.”
“We're both very career-oriented,” he continued. “We both love what we do. Any chance I get to show her my support and knowing that she's shown me all the support in the world throughout the season — it's just been an amazing experience getting to know Tay.”
The Ohio native spent Tuesday speaking with a number of publications about the Kelce Jam, which will feature a lineup headlined by Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz at the Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs, Kan., on May 18. Advertising sign during his press day that both artists were two of his high school favorites, adding: “I think this is going to be the last hurray for me this year, celebrating [2024] Super Bowl with the city of Kansas City because of how much I appreciate and love them.”
While chatting with festival-taylor-swift-1235864813/” target=”_blank”>The Hollywood Reporter, touched on how watching Swift's Eras tour inspired the design of the Kelce Jam. “It's in a whole other stratosphere,” he said. “She's the best at what she does for a reason. It is because she is so articulate and very careful in everything she does. And that's the beauty of it.”
“I'd be a fool to ever try to take anything away from what he's doing other than just enjoying the people who show up,” he continued. “I think that's one thing I could probably take away: it really relates to the people he's playing in front of, so I'll take it.”
