The story of Travis Kelce's friendship bracelet – in which he used the item in an attempt to get his number on Taylor Swift – has been heard around the world. And now, the Kansas City Chiefs studs are making it to the NFL and Nickelodeon's joint game day promo.
The NFL and Nickelodeon shared a joint promo on Instagram for its upcoming Nickelodeon: NFL Nickmas Game program that will air on Christmas Day, featuring an illustrated Easter teaser for the Chiefs game against the Las Vegas Raiders. “Can you spot all the Easter eggs?” 🏈🎄unfold all the surprises with #NFLonNickmas,” the Dec. 19 post was captioned.
The photo features several NFL players from both the Raiders and Chiefs teams, some facing each other for gifts, exchanging gifts and interacting with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Kelce's illustrated counterpart appears in the lower right corner, making what will soon be his fourth friendship bracelet.
In a July episode of Travis and his brother Jason New Heights podcast, the tight end revealed that he tried to talk to Swift after her concerts at Arrowhead Stadium, but was unsuccessful. “I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her concerts because she has to keep her voice for the 44 songs she sings,” she said, “so I was a little hurt and missed. it's one of the bracelets I made for her.”
Travis further explained the friendship bracelet phenomenon to his brother, adding, “If you're at Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets. I got a bunch of them that were there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number.” I think the couple didn't meet after Swift's concerts, the rest, as they say, is history.
