The rapper is set to appear as the musical guest Saturday night live tonight March 30th
Travis Scott has released his video for “Fe!n” featuring Playboi Carti. The single is off Scott Utopia, which was released last summer.
Scott released the Gabriel Moses-directed video ahead of his performance Saturday night live tonight, March 30, where he will serve as musical guest. In the visual, the duo appear to be doing terrific 360-degree spins perfectly timed to their bars and beats. A chorus of children, dancers, a sumo wrestler and more are also seen spinning in front of the video's black backdrop.
The sequel to 2018 Astroworld, Utopia features a number of collaborations including Bad Bunny and The Weeknd (“K-Pop”), Teezo Touchdown (“Modern Jam”), Drake (“Meltdown”), Beyoncé (“Delresto (Echoes)”) and SZA and Future ( “Telemotion”), among others. The album debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200 chart.
On Monday, the rapper asked to be dismissed from ongoing lawsuits connected to the deadly 2021 Astroworld crowd blast, according to a motion filed in Houston, with Scott's lawyers arguing he was not responsible for safety of the events and that “the performers are not expected to provide special protection to the audience, nor to protect them from the rest of the crowd”. A grand jury in Houston ruled last June that Scott and several organizers behind the 2021 festival — where 10 people were killed and hundreds more said they were injured — will not face criminal charges.
Earlier this month, Scott teamed up with The Weeknd and producer Mike Dean, who has served as a producer on his albums, to perform “Circus Maximus” from Utopiaand also performed “Fe!n.”
