So far there have only been two official colorways of Travis Scott's “Jumpman Jack” Jordan sneaker line, and while more have been promised in the near future, the “Highest In The Room” rapper teased a new colorway that he may or may not see . daylight.
Recently, the Houston representative was spotted at Game 2 of the NBA Finals in Boston and in an obvious show of support for the Beantown team, Scott was rocking a never-before-seen Celtic green and black colorway of his popular “Jumpman Jack” jersey. According Sneaker News, this particular pair isn't scheduled to release anytime soon (if ever), but don't be surprised if these joints end up being one of the many unreleased Travis Scott x Jordan colorways that have made it to trophy status, as only a few have had the honor of to be blessed with a couple.
Per Sneaker News:
While the emerald hues front and center on this shoe are certainly appropriate for the occasion, this design choice introduces a bit of a curveball to La Flame's generation. His neutral shades for the Air Jordan 1 are well-documented at this point, but even on the Jumpman Jack, a version with no earth tones at all is notable. There is also a change of materials. Luxurious suede marks the underlays, which are usually made up of mesh in both previous releases and those we've gotten an early preview of.
It's not entirely clear if this is a sample pair offered or designed by La Flame, or if this is an early preview of a colorway that will hit shelves later in the shoe's release. Releases for the Jordan Jumpman Jack “Mocha” and Jordan Jumpman Jack “Thunder” will almost certainly precede this pair, leaving the possible debut of this release a bit further down the line.
Those are cool and all, but us sneakerheads still see the release of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 in the mocha colorway or purple and white that was rocking a few years ago. I am just saying'. I'm not sure why he and Jordan Brand like to make us sneakerheads suffer like this.
