Travis Scott has been forced to cancel his Friday (15.12.23) concert in Chicago due to a flight delay.
The 32-year-old rapper was set to bring his 'Utopia – Circus Maximus' tour to Chicago's United Center but had to postpone after his plane was stuck on a runway for '24 hours'.
She wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “I literally spent 24 hours on a catwalk. The craziest [thing] always.”
She added on Instagram: “Have you ever spent 24 hours in a hallway that I have.”
He promised fans he would be back in January, writing: “For my people in Chicago I was so ready to go crazy. Chicago has always been one of my favorite places. Going and looking forward to it the whole tour. I'll be back in the first two days of January”.
A message on the venue's X account said: “Travis Scott's show at the United Center scheduled for tonight has been postponed. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date once announced. More information will be posted here and sent directly to ticket holders when available.”
A later message added: “Travis Scott Utopia Tour Presents Circus Maximus scheduled for December 15, 2023 has been rescheduled for January 3, 2024.
“All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. For any questions regarding refunds, please contact your point of purchase.”
