Travis Scott completes his fourth consecutive No. 1 project Bulletin boardTop R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart as Days before the Rodeo debuts at the top of the chart dated September 7. The mixtape, which received its first commercial and wide streaming release for its 10th anniversary, is opening with 361,000 equivalent albums earned in the U.S. in the August 23-29 tracking week, according to Luminate .
Of Days before the RodeoOf the original total, 331,000 units came from album sales, giving the mixtape the best sales week for any R&B/hip-hop title (either appearing or eligible for Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums) in more than seven years. by Kendrick Lamar Dime. sold 353,000 copies in its debut week of April 14–20, 2017. It also rewrites Scott's personal best-selling week for an album, eclipsing Astrocosmwhich opened with 270,000 copies in 2018.
The avalanche of sales was aided by eight different versions of it Days before the Rodeo digital album, six of which were sold exclusively through Scott's official store. In addition to the standard 12-song version, the seven variants contained various bonus tracks, including previously unreleased and teased studio tracks and cut-and-screwed remixes of the album's songs. All variants sold through Scott's online store were priced at $4.99, while versions available on the iTunes Store were also available for $4.99 at the end of the tracking week.

Days before the Rodeo was first released as a free mixtape on August 18, 2014, and the 12-track set received its first commercial and official streaming release for its 10th anniversary on August 23. The night before the release, Scott celebrated with a concert at The Masquerade in Atlanta, where he performed 10 of the project's songs among other tracks.
Elsewhere, Days before the Rodeo debuts at No. 1 on the Top Rap Albums chart, making it Scott's fifth chart-topper – all of his chart releases.
