Tupac suspected of murder Keefe D he'll have to hang out in jail while he awaits trial. A judge denied him bail because he was selling his life story.
As mentionted with Huffington Post The Compton, LA native has not received positive news regarding his freedom. On Wednesday, June 26, Clark County Circuit Court Judge Carli Kierny ruled against the request citing concerns that he would take advantage of his freedom. Last week his legal team asked for their client's release after securing $750,000 bail. In recent weeks, controversial music executive Cash “Wack 100” Jones has been teasing the idea of securing Keefe D in exchange for the rights to his story. The business proposal appeared to be getting some results as Wack discussed the business deal with Duane Davis Jr., Keefe D's son, at the Clubhouse. This appears to have preoccupied Judge Keirny as she expressed her concerns that the Wack 100 serves as a “'front' or 'middleman' for the true bond poster.”
Keefe D's lawyer expressed his disappointment in a statement to Newsweek. “We are disappointed with the court's decision to deny bail to Mr. Davis, especially considering the thorough due diligence Konvict Bail Bonds conducted prior to the source hearing,” Carl Arnold said. “We strongly believe that there is no substantial evidence that Mr. Davis intended to profit from his alleged connections to the case.”
Keefe D's trial is expected to begin in November. He could face life in prison if convicted of his role in Tupac's murder.
