Tyler, The Creator's COLOR COPIES secures a second consecutive and overall week atop the Billboard 200 chart (dated November 16). It's the rapper's first album to spend two consecutive weeks at No. 1 and his second set with at least two frames at the top spot. It had previously notched two non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 with Call me if you get lost — nine months apart — in 2021-22. He ruled the list with another album, Igor, which took a slot at No. 1 in 2019.
COLOR COPIES earned 160,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending Nov. 7 (down 47% in its second week), according to Luminate. It's the set's first full seven-day week on the chart, following an abbreviated debut frame of just four days, as the album was released on an off-cycle Monday (October 28; most albums are released on a Friday).
Also in the top 10 on the new Billboard 200 chart, Lil Uzi Vert scores his fifth top 10 set with his No. 3 debut Eternal Attack 2while The Cure achieved their highest-charting album in 30 years and first top 10 in more than 20 years, with its No.4 debut Songs of a Lost World.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the US based on multimetric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units include album sales, track album equivalents (TEA) and streaming album equivalents (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale or 10 individual tracks sold from an album or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 official paid/subscription audio and video streams generated from songs from an album. The new chart dated November 16, 2024 will be published in full on Bulletin boardwebsite on Tuesday (November 12). Of COLOR COPIESOf the 160,000 equivalent album units earned in its second week, SEA units comprise 115,500 (down 27%, corresponding to the album's 160.31 million official on-demand song streams; sits at No. 1 on the Top Streaming Albums chart) , album sales are 44,500 (down 69%, dropping to No. 2 on Top Albums) and TEA units are a negligible amount (down 3%). Sales of the set were aided in its second week by continued strong sales of six deluxe collector's box sets (each containing a CD, poster and another branded item). The album's second week was boosted by the release of the standalone CD and two additional box sets. The set starts with 59,000 equivalent albums earned, of which SEA units are 56,000 (corresponding to the set's 76.43 million official on-demand song streams), album sales are 3,000, and TEA units are a negligible amount.

The set's title and release date were confirmed on September 26, alongside the release of the album's first track (and first new song in 16 years), “Alone”. On October 9, a second song from the set, “A Fragile Thing”, arrived. The latest track climbs 25-22 (a new peak) on Alternative Airplay and 12-10 on Adult Alternative Airplay. It is the first chart hit for The Cure on Alternative Airplay since 2008, and the band's highest charting song since 2004's “The End of the World” peaked at No. 19. On the Adult Alternative Airplay chart, ” Fragile” is the song's third charting song. ever (dating back to the chart's inception in 1996) and first to reach the top 10.
