Uncle Murda has carved a special niche for himself through his “Rap Up” series that started a few years ago. The East New York, Brooklyn rapper is back with “Rap Up 2023” and as one can imagine, quite a few big names are taking shots and drifting along the way.
Uncle Murda, rocking over a beat from Great John, opens the song seemingly suggesting that the medical episode Jamie Foxx suffered earlier this year was reportedly linked to drug use. Blueface and Soulja Boy, both involved in public feuds, were mentioned by Murda, and Young Thug took a shot with Gunna, with Murda admitting the latter's latest album was “hot.”
Rising star Sexy Red was criticized for her lyrics and even mentioned hearing alleged rumors that the rapper had an STD. He then put that thought into Sexxy Red's hook from Drake's track “Rich Baby Daddy” from the Canadian rapper's song. For all dogs album, adding that young girls shouldn't listen to her music.
Continuing his relentless assault on civilization, Uncle Merda next targeted André 3000 and New Blue Sun album, echoing the same complaints expressed by other fans of the Outkast rapper via Stacks who chose to play the flute instead of rapping.
Other names mentioned were Joe Budden, Taxstone, Cardi B, Offset, Tory Lanez, Megan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, Elliott Wilson and more.
