The limited edition console is currently sold out at Best buy, but you can find it online at Amazon and Walmart, and on resale sites like StockX.
Sony released the Spider-Man PS5 Limited Edition Bundle last fall for $599.99. From what we found online, prices now range from $618,199 on Amazon (for a used console in good condition) to more than $880 on Walmart.com.
Sony PlayStation SpiderMan 2 Limited Edition Bundle
It was announced last fall, the limited edition package includes Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5 video game and a custom PS5 console in black, instead of the standard white color, with the symbiote tentacles moving closer to Spider-Man's icon. The Spider-Man logo also appears on the back of the console and on the controller.
“The design was inspired by the in-game symbiote that takes over the console and controller, but you can still see some of the underlying red under the propellers. This represents the various ways players will experience the symbiote redemption Marvel's Spider-Man 2Jacinda Chew, senior art director at Insomniac Games, said in a statement about the Sony blog. “It's a constant push and pull for dominance, whether it's internal or external, and the outcome is not certain.”
Sony also released a Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Console Cover ($64.99) and the Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition DualSense Wireless Controller ($79.99) last year to channel the same look as the limited console and controller .
The PS5 Slim, a smaller version of Sony's best-selling games console, was launched last November, followed by the PlayStation Portal.
