Nacho and Maffio hit a career milestone Advertising signLatin Airplay chart as “No Es Normal”, featuring Venesti, reaches #1 on the chart dated March 16. With the new skipper, Nacho and Maffio achieved their first chart toppers since their maiden visits in 2017 and 2012, respectively. Venesti captures his second No. 1.
“No Es Normal” rolls into the top spot, up from No. 5 a week ago, thanks to a 21 percent increase in audience impressions to 9.64 million earned in the U.S. in the March 1-7 viewing week, according to with Luminate.
“Normal” was released on August 31, 2023, via AP Global and reaches number one on the overall Latin Airplay chart in its 16th week on the chart. The song is one of Venesti's 14 tracks De La Nada album released on September 28, 2023.
With “Normal”, both Nacho and Maffio check into the penthouse for the first time. While Nacho topped No.3 with 'Bailame' (November 2017), his best chart to date, Maffio topped his best chart entry to date, 'No Tengo Dinero', which reached No. .29 in October 2013.
Venesti, meanwhile, scores his second Latin Airplay No. 1, and first through a collaboration. He previously ruled himself unaccompanied by any other act for a week with “Umaye” last October.
Beyond the Latin Airplay command, “Normal” remains firmly atop Latin Pop Airplay for a ninth week at the helm. The song topped the Latin pop radio chart on January 13, earning the three-piece their first No. 1 there.
Notably, of the three, Nacho is the only act to reach the top 10 on Latin Pop Airplay prior to “Normal.” He almost lost the No. 1 spot when “Bailame” reached No. 2 in 2017. In between, the Venezuelan secured a second top 10 with another collaboration, the No. 7 charting “Déjalo,” with Manuel Turizo in 2019 .
Additionally, with nine weeks leading Latin Pop Airplay, “Normal” becomes 2024's longest-running song so far.
