In Amsterdam with the multi-instrumentalist, producer, and DJ.
In our latest VF Live, we’re back at Amsterdam institution Rush Hour with Julion De’Angelo.
The North Carolina-born, Destroit-based multi-instrumentalist, producer, and DJ has spent his career traversing genres. Skilled at the bass, cello, and drums, De’Angelo has released a series of explorative percussive EPs and has DJ’d at venues and events including Boiler Room, Meakusma Festival in Belgium, Tresor/Globus Berlin, The Hydra at Printworks London, and Nowadays NYC.
In his VF Live, De’Angelo presents a set of “Black music that would bend your ear in a record store” that he describes as “something to float to”.
