Welcome in the sunny days with a warm blend of soul, dub, jazz and folk.
Emerging from Giles Peterson’s Future Bubblers development programme, East London singer-songwriter Yazmin Lacey has been a fresh voice in contemporary soul.
Her debut album Voice Notes, released via Own Your Own in 2023, pulled together a soulful, joyous tapestry that wore its genre influences on its sleeves. It makes sense so for Lacey to shape her soul, jazz, dub and electronic expertise into tasteful, insightful DJ sets.
Ahead of her DJ set at Cross The Tracks festival on May 26, Yazmin Lacey joins us for a special sunny mix packed with positive vibes and summer evening toe-tappers.
