Victoria Monét deserves her flowers after her Coachella 2024 performance last weekend — and who better than Beyoncé to give them to her?
The 'On My Mama' singer showed off the white bouquet and the sweet personalized note on it Instagram Stories Wednesday (April 17). “Congratulations on your beautiful appearance at Coachella. Sending you love, B,” the card read. In the clip, Monét shows the card to her 3-year-old daughter Hazel and asks if she knew who sent the flowers. “Beyoncé,” Hazel replies before being asked to say “Thank you so much! They are beautiful!”
“My heart is shining!!! AHHHHHHHH thank you so much!!!! Exasperated and so grateful,” Monet captioned the first clip. In an IG Story slide below, the singer shows Hazel dancing on the couch as she watches Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé, the Netflix concert documentary about Bey's legendary Coachella set (dubbed Beychella). “HONEY WE HAVE A STAN,” she captioned the clip, proving that Hazel is a certified member of the Beyhive. And in a boomerang bonus, Hazel shows off more of her dance moves. “YASS HAZEL GET IT,” added Monet.
Both Beyoncé and Monét have raised daughters making Grammy history: Hazel became the youngest nominee ever when Monét's “Hollywood,” also featuring the legendary Earth, Wind & Fire, was up for Best Traditional R&B Performance at the Grammys of 2024 (she was 2 years old at the time of her nomination). Blue Ivy Carter remains the youngest individual Grammy winner (not as part of a group or duo) when she won Best Music Video for “Brown Skin Girl,” alongside her mother Beyoncé and Wizkid, at the 2021 Grammys when he was only 8 years old.
