One such aesthetic alternative to traditional black vinyl is splatter vinyl, an option where different colour pellets are mixed during the pressing process, resulting in an often multi-coloured, unique visual expression for the music contained.
We took a trip to The Vinyl Factory pressing plant in Hayes to learn exactly how splatter vinyl is created.
