The OVO and Keinemusik teams reunite for a new collaboration that comes with the promise of a long, laid-back summer of dance music.
Thanks to the hypnotic DJ marathon sets of Keinemusik, the techno and house music collective, which received its name in EDM.comAccording to the list of the best acts of 2023, they are one of the most sought-after electronic live acts today. Their growing prestige came to a head during a recent show at the Brooklyn Mirage, where they released an unreleased collaboration with Drake.
The group, who performed under the banner “Kloud,” debuted a haunted-house-inspiring track featuring vocals from the chart-topping rapper. While details are scarce at the moment, Drizzy eventually shared a snippet on his own Instagram Story, sparking speculation among fans that an official collaboration may be in the works. Keinemusik members &ME and Rampa joined Drake in the summer of 2022 for the OVO boss's seventh studio album. Honestly, it doesn't matteron which they contributed production to two tracks, “Falling Back” and “A Keeper.” The album, which was released by surprise at the time with just 24 hours’ notice, broke Apple Music’s record for the most first-day streams for a dance album in just one hour.
In other Keinemusik news, the team just made a rare appearance at the Great Pyramids of Giza, the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Their performance became the “first drone DJ set” at the pyramids, according to High snobbery.
Neither Keinemusik nor Drake have announced a title, release date, or any other concrete details about their unreleased collaboration as of this writing.
