The band bring back “True Faith” and perform “Ten Storey Love Story” for the first time during the third show of four nights in the British city.
The Killers paid tribute to two of Manchester's most beloved acts as the band covered both New Order and the Stone Roses during their gig in the British city on Friday.
On the third show of a four-night stand at Manchester's Co-Op Live, Brandon Flowers and company debuted a cover of New Order's 'True Faith' for the first time since 2019.
A few songs later, the Killers showed some extra love to Manchester's music history with their first performance of the Stone Roses' 'Ten Storey Love Song':
The Killers are in the middle of a UK tour, covering artists from the islands along the way, including a take on the Kinks' “Come Dancing” and a tease of U2's “The Sweetest Thing” during their Dublin gigs. After the Manchester shows, the band will then play a trio of shows in Glasgow before setting up shop at London's O2 Arena for a six-night stand.
Later this summer, the Killers will launch their own Hot mess 25th anniversary shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas on August 14, with eight shows currently scheduled throughout the month. The band also has headlining sets at both Chicago's Lollapalooza and San Francisco's Outside Lands on the schedule.
