On June 28, Mabe Fratti will release the new album Sentir Que No Sabes. He's already shared the LP's “Kravitz” and “Pantalla azul,” and now he's released the music video for the single “Enfrente.” The video, directed Jose Ostos and Ana Drucker, featuring Fratti, Edwin Mensah and Timi Adisa. Check it out below.
“The starting point was water, we were interested in its movement and plasticity,” Ostos and Drucker explained of their perspective in a press statement. “We also wanted the imagery to act as a rhythmic accompaniment to the groove of the song. After some testing, we created a system that allowed us to film various subjects through distortions and reflections created by the dynamic interaction of light and water. We focused on this technique to create a series of scenes and images with an internal rhythm and a color palette that blends with the textures and colors of Mabe's song.”
Fratti plays many shows to support it Se Ve Desde Aquí I follow. Check out her schedule, which includes performances as part of it Pitchfork Music Festivals London and Parisbelow.
