Sexyy Red and Lana Del Rey are the duo we didn't know we needed. The two artists hung out at the Hangout festival in Gulf Shores, Ala., over the weekend and Sexyy got the moment on camera.
The “Get It Sexyy” MC posted a video to Instagram on Tuesday (May 21) of her and Lana twerking to Sexyy's unreleased song “TTG” from her upcoming EP. At Sexyy We Trustwhich is set to be released this Friday, May 24, via Open Shift/gamma. At Sexyy We Trust arrives one year after her second mixtape, Hood Hot Princess, which included her breakout hits “Pound Town 2” featuring Tay Keith and Nicki Minaj and “SkeeYee.” The set peaked at No. 62 on the Billboard 200.
Elsewhere in the clip, shot by Suave Films, the 26-year-old rapper flaunts fat stacks of cash in her trailer and appears at the Hangout festival, where her fans proudly hold up “Sexyy 2024 Make America Sexyy Again” signs. She also shared snaps of herself hanging with the Grammy-nominated singer another carousel postcaptioning it, “I'm smart about my bthcez so you gotta bring some friend.”
Rapper 'SkeeYee' is no stranger to superstar power, having collaborated with Minaj, Drake, SZA, Summer Walker and more. And Sexyy is a consistently successful hitmaker, as her latest single, “Get It Sexyy,” became her first top 10 hit on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and her first top 20 hit on Billboard Hot 100.
